All members of BIHIMA adhere to the vision and declarations laid out in our policy document, guaranteeing a commitment to excellence in both manufacturing and customer care.
Regulations
Our members create hearing instruments that are Medical Devices (as opposed to unregulated Personal Sound Amplification Products) and are therefore certified under the following regulations.
Standards
All our members are also certified under ISO 9000 Quality management standards, outlined here.
All the products manufactured by our member organisations carry CE marks to ensure standards and specification conformity.
All products sold by BIHIMA members to NHS approved audiology providers are evaluated and approved by the Audiology Steering Group (ASG).
